Minigore has been a strong influence for me in my previous project. As the FMP is in a familiar field I felt this was a relevant source of reference. The main aspect of this game that has drawn me to it is the gameplay. Although the graphics are pleasing we will not be taking too much from the aesthetics. As my roles are purely functional rather than conceptual or artistic. I will be focusing on the animation and the lok and layout of the menu/HUD. The dual control is a big selling aspect of the game for me. It would be interesting to look into the dual control capabilities in the later stages of the project, if time allows. Minigore's animations and fluidity of gameplay will be the strong aspects that I will be building on for our game.
